Event Schedule Overview

All teams arrive a few hours before WOW JAM begins in order to set up. As people arrive from the community they see the truck covered with prizes and hear great music playing as we give everyone a free ticket to win prizes. They drop off their bikes for repair and we begin providing haircuts, paining faces, taking family photos and giving away plants. There is a big bounce house for the kids and much, much more. We cook and serve food to the entire neighborhood. Each team is working very hard to serve the thousands of people that will show up and at the same time, you are making relationships.

The activity focus shifts to the big truck as Stephen comes to the stage while we shutdown and cleanup the tents. For the next hour, music plays while we play games and give away prizes – It is a lot of fun! Stephen and Linda lead the event while you fellowship with a multitude of people. We present a powerful drama followed by Stephen preaching a short but strong message. An alter call is given and many people of all lifestyles come forward to receive the Lord. You are surrounded by the largest alter call of your life!

The people need you as never before to stand with someone as they pray to God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Everyone now gets in a circle of 8 to 10 people and then all sit together on the grass. You are the counselor; you pray with them, give them a Bible and explain about their new life. You encourage them to go to church, read their Bible, pray, and come to the baptism at the end of the week. More fellowship happens and then we clean everything up. By now, the sun has gone down and the truck lights come on. The crowd gathers around the truck to win a few more bikes. They are encouraged to come to the big day of baptism at the lake on Saturday. Another song and then the air is filled with toys and Frisbees. The night ends with one last song. We hand out one thousand bags of groceries as people head for home... their lives forever changed! You are tired, you are sunburned, your feet hurt; but you cannot wait for tomorrow because we get up and do it again!
